One day visit on Tuesday 10th Dec to VESCOA ( Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Architecture ) Chembur Mumbai where I was asked to present our BSUP in situ people participatory slum rehabilitation project done at Yerwada Pune as a part of COA TRC Teachers Training Programme ( TTP ) on titled “Education of a Design Professional an Ekistics Approach” was eventful. It was honour to meet senior professionals like Ar Madhav Deobhakta & Ar Meera Deobhakta and was happy to connect with friends Ar Harshad Bhatia , Ar Anil Nagrath & Ar Anand Achari. An accidental meeting with the Narmada Bhacho activist Medha tai Patkar was a bonus of the visit.

Mumbai Street Lab Competition

We are pleased to announce that Team Prasanna Desai Architects (PDA) has been awarded as the winner for designing S. V. Road in Mumbai by MCGM.

The competition floated by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai about 2 months ago comprised of 5 streets to be designed in the city of Mumbai as per Urban street guidelines focusing on the pedestrian and cyclists.

5 winners have been selected for the 5 different streets in the two phase competition. Our heartiest congratulations to all the winners.
